Seojin was born and raised in Daejeon, Korea. He received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Yonsei University in 2026. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry as a member of the Lee group. His research focuses on developing asymmetric catalysis with the use of chiral cyclopropenimine-based organocatalysts.
Outside of research, he enjoys playing the guitar and going to concerts.
