Sieun was born and raised in South Korea. She received her B.S. degree in 2024 from the Department of Chemistry at KwangWoon University (South Korea). She is currently pursuing her M.S. degree in Chemistry as a member of the Lee group. Her research focuses on copper-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions through the use of cyclopropenimine-based ligands, with particular emphasis on the formation of sp³–sp³ carbon–carbon bonds.
Outside the lab, she enjoys coloring and visiting museums in her free time
